Valentines Day Wedding Inspiration

Happy Valentines Day!

Valentines Day tends to bring out the romantic side in most of us, which is why it’s such a popular time of year for marriage proposals. Because of this it’s hardly surprising that many couples choose to get married on Valentines Day, or have a Valentines Day themed wedding.

If you are planning a Valentines Day themed wedding, there are many unique touches that can enhance your day, while adding an edge of romance and fun. See below are seven of our favourite!

Instead of a wedding cake, how about red glitter cupcakes?  Cupcakes normally cost less than traditional wedding cakes, which means that you will have more to spend on the rest of your big day.

Incorporating a kissing booth into your wedding is a sweet way to get love in the air, and would fit perfectly at any Valentines themed wedding. With some extra props, a kissing booth could also turn into a cool photo booth for you and your guests.

Romantic Lighting

To wow your guests, use lighting such as fairy lights or paper lanterns to enhance your venue. This is a sure way to get that romantic Valentines Day feel.

Heart shaped favours

Glitter Cookies

For a twist on more traditional wedding favours, give your guests edible heart shaped treats, such as cookies. Edible favours are becoming increasingly more popular and are sure to go down a treat.

Wishing Balloons

As an addition to having a guest book, why not give each of your guests a balloon where they can write their own personal wish for their future? Letting them all fly off together will look breathtaking and your guests are sure to love it.

Rose Confetti

Using petals for confetti is not only biodegradable and venue friendly, but it also looks lovely. There are many different types of flowers that can be used for different effects. Rose petals will also work wonderfully as an alternative to an aisle runner.

Heart Sparklers
